Valid Excuses

What consitutes a good reason to be able to miss an important event? Said event could be a wedding, child's baptism, or even perhaps Test 4 of Dr. Lawrence Zwiebel's Biology 110A. KJ and I were attempting to fall asleep in our respective bunk bed last Thursday night eagerly awaiting the Starbucks coffee that would greet our weary eyes waking up the next morning to study for Biology. I had shifted in my lower bunk in which the entire set moved and creaked which also, not surprisingly, resulted in KJ belting/screeching out his "Oh yea" make-of-it-what-you-wish voice. We then contemplated what would have happened if his upper tier bunk had broken and landed on me, crushing my body. We laughed for a few seconds, then I asked the question that if I had been crushed by his bunk, what would have been Dr. Zwiebel's response to KJ asking him if I would be able to take the test at another date because I had been crushed by his upper bunk the night before.
Does this constitute as a valid excuse for missing a Bio exam? Or is the better question, would Dr. Zwiebel even believe KJ when he tells him? I know I would...

Div School Lunch

Recently (meaning the last year I have known him), KJ has been in the mood for 'not believing in things.' For any of you who know what this means, I need not explain more. For those of you who do need explaination: Today during Div School lunch, Shannon brought up a comment about how she couldn't wait for her wedding some day and to give a great toast, in which case KJ proceeded to respond: "I don't believe in weddings because everyone knows they are going to pork aferwards."

For those of you who may be reading this and thinking, "this is retarded and I am unsubscribing," do what you will, but in order to fully appreciate the anecdotes, you must have full sarcasm in mind.
